Premix Fuel Distribution
The Secretariat facilitates the procurement and distribution of premix fuel to fishing communities and supports the work of the National Premix Fuel Committee.
Allocation and coordination
Distribution is coordinated through Landing Beach Committees and the licensed operators involved in supplying and lifting premix fuel.
- Maintain a register of Landing Beach Committees.
- Categorize committees and estimate their lifting requirements.
- Coordinate Oil Marketing Companies and other distribution stakeholders.
Distribution oversight
The Secretariat monitors the movement of premix fuel through the distribution chain. Fuel requested and supplied by licensed operators is reconciled with quantities lifted by Oil Marketing Companies and received by Landing Beach Committees.
Accountability
Operational and financial information is reported to the National Premix Fuel Committee to support oversight of premix fuel administration.
